from Good to Not so Good

If you had asked me a year ago what my favorite healthy snacks were, I would have listed off a few that I was convinced were SO good for me!  Fast-forward to now, and they are absolute NO NOs in our clean diets (they would be ok for the average person though).  So I want to share a few things I have recently learned (mostly from boyfriend)…

Tip #1  DO NOT EAT CARBS WITH FATS  for example I used to eat an apple with peanut butter every single day, no matter what.Apple-and-Peanut-Butter

Tip #2  DO NOT EAT TONS OF FRUITS for example I used to eat 4-5 servings of fruit a day and it was the majority of my diet.  They are ok in moderation but remember they are high in sugar.apple_logo_rainbow_fruit

Tip #3 DO NOT AVOID CARBS for example I used to not eat any direct sources of carbs but this can leave you feeling run down because it is your main energy source.  The best carbs to eat are oatmeal, sweet potatoes, rice cakes, ezekiel bread, and veggies.amazingbodynow-com
