Jump rope is for the young at heart 🙂
Tips:
- Jump 1 inch off the ground so it is low-impact
- Look straight ahead
- Stay on the balls of your feet; your heels should not touch the ground
- Good posture
- Elbows at your side at a 45 degree angle
- Your arms should barely move; the motion comes from your wrists
- Increase your speed. But do not lose your good form.
Steps:
- Double bounce (beginner, slower) or single bounce (advanced)
- Bounce step (just up and down)
- Alternate foot step (up and down switching from L to R like running in place)
