So let’s recap a few main points:
- Start propped up on our forearms or hands so you can begin in a hip extension position
- Contract your quadriceps at the bottom
- Then curl your legs in while still pressing your hips down into the pad to maintain hip extension
- You may lift your knees slight off the pad to achieve more hip extension as well
- After the concentric curl (1 second up), slowly lower your legs back down for the eccentric portion (4 seconds)
- Do not let your hips lift up off the pad ever
