Female-Led Podcasts I Can’t Stop Listening To

Female-Led Podcasts I Can’t Stop Listening To

I am way behind on the podcasts trend. For awhile, I didn’t understand why we were reverting back to radio-style listening without video or pictures. For me, I am a visual person so watching videos is more entertaining and I learn better that way. So I kept saying “no” when podcasts were calling my name. But they kept calling! And hubby kept encouraging me to listen to one so we could learn how to retire early and be financially independent.

So I gave in.

The first podcast I ever listened to was so insightful! It was a BiggerPockets podcast which is a group that lives by the concept of becoming financially independent: get out of debt, make passive income, invest, retire early, and have more financial freedom!  I absolutely loved it!

After listening to that podcast, I felt so excited! Why haven’t I listened to podcasts until now? I guess I thought it was old school. When in fact, it is pretty convenient. Why not hit play on an educational podcast instead of hitting play on music every once in awhile? Though I am a huge music lover, I am equally all about that self growth life. Listening to a podcast that will change my life is way more beneficial than turning on the local radio during my drive to work (bye bye ads).

So I fell in love with podcasts.

I have since added more and more podcasts to my playlist. Though I don’t have a ton of time to listen to them, it’s nice to listen to them occasionally. I like to listen to them during my commute, while flying/traveling, while working out, or even on my lunch breaks.

Whether you’re a podcast lover already or not, I have searched around and found some of the top podcasts led by females that I want to share with you! They cover topics like self growth, health & fitness, relationships, happiness, business, & more! Let’s spend more time on ourselves ladies. We deserve to be happy, healthy, and fearless females.

The Ten Female-led Podcasts I Can’t Stop Listening To

#1 Girl Boss by Sophia Amoruso, the creator of Nasty Gal.

Ever since watching the TV series Girl Boss starring one of my favorite new actresses Britt Robertson, I fell in love with the strength and spontaneity of her character. So why not listen to the Girlboss herself in real life!  This podcast focuses on what it’s like to be a female in the workplace. Feel empowered and shine girl!

I loved her July 18, 2018 episode with Brooklyn Decker. They discussed her new app “Finery” which I find fascinating because it’s like a real-life Clueless closet! Both Brooklyn and Sophia are all about females showing their power in a male-dominant business. We all have ideas- bring them to life.

#3 Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe

I loved the April 5th 2018 episode called So Many Happy Endings with RaeLynn. Kaitlyn is hilarious  and you can just tell they’re having a blast. It’s light hearted, funny, and entertaining! Sometimes I want to listen to something less serious that’s more like girl talk and this is exactly that. Plus, I love RaeLynn’s music ever since I watched her on the Voice.
