Paddling Workout Video
I recently spent an entire week on a rafting trip in the Grand Canyon! My dad and I did a week long trip with Wilderness River Adventures and we enjoyed every second of it. However the trip itself is physically demanding. Have no fear though...I'll help you get ready!
If you have a big trip coming up involving paddling or rowing, I have put together the perfect workout for you to prepare. This paddling workout video shares exactly what I did in the gym to prep for this trip. I focused a lot on back strengthening with a little core and plyometric work as well.
If you plan to raft the Grand Canyon or somewhere else...don't assume you'll be ready. Take action and be sure you train specifically for this activity. The functional movements and exercises you'll find in this video will get you ready. It would be awful to show up to a huge trip like this unprepared or even worse, injury-prone.
