League Spotlight: NMA bikini competition
History
The all-natural NMA league is the amateur and pro league which stands for the Natural Muscle Association. They've require all athletes to be drug free for at least 7 years.
Amateurs begin in the amateur division and can eventually progress to the pro division by competing and placing first overall in any show (all shows are "pro qualifier" shows). But a minimum of 3 competitors in the class is required, otherwise the judges take a vote on whether you turn Pro or not.
Show Schedule & Cost
Their full 2021 schedule is up with shows in Ohio and New York. Visit their events page to stay up-to-date on show options.
To compete in one of their shows, you'll have to pay 2 fees: league membership and show registration. Note: You can wear a regular bikini instead of a sparkly made-for-competing bikini which is a nice option if you're on a tight budget.
Bikini
In the Bikini division you take the stage in a two-piece suit with heels for judging.

In addition to bikini, there is also a transformation division if you've lost had significant weight loss, overcome a severe illness, or beat an addiction.
